Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology (TSCT) Early Enrollment:
This program allows senior high school students to attend Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology as a full-time freshman during their high school senior year.

Dual Enrollment Opportunities: 
 
About Dual Enrollment
This program provides high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to take college courses at local educational institutes.  
 
Dual Enrollment Courses:
  • Must be non-remedial college courses.
  • Must be offered in a core academic subject in one of the following areas of study: English, reading or language arts, mathematics, science, foreign language, civics and government, economics, arts, or history.

Eligibility:
  • Must be a junior or senior to participate.
  • Must be making satisfactory progress toward fulfilling applicable high school graduation requirements  
Dual Enrollment Cost:
  • Guardians/students are responsible for paying ALL costs assocaited with the course of study. Most colleges offer discounted tuition.
  • Must be making satisfactory progress toward fulfilling applicable high school graduation requirements
Dual Enrollment Credits:
  • Students receive college credits on an official transcript from the post-secondary institution.
  • Students have the option of receiving high school credit for each couse, as well. If the student chooses to have the class(es) appear on their transcript, each will have a credit value 1.0 and a weight based on the GPA/class rank chart on the counseling webpage.
  • Dual enrollment course(s) must be completed with a minimum grade of 2.0 (C).
  • Students are limited to six college credits a semester and/or a total of 12 credits throughout his or her high school career.
  • Course work may be completed in the following disciplines: English, reading, language arts, mathematics, science, foreign languages, civics and government, economics, arts history, and geography.
