ACT Information

Registration

To register for the ACT exam students must  go to www.actstudent.org/start. You will register and pay for the exam right on this website.

Conestoga Valley’s Test Center # is 183950. Conestoga Valley’s six digit school code is 392105.

Test Prep

Students can prepare for the ACT right on the www.actstudent.org/start website. We recommend students click on the TEST PREP tab on the website, utilize The Real ACT Prep Guide, ACT Question of the Day, and The ACT Online Prep.

Test Information

  • Students should arrive no later than 7:30 am the day of the exam. Students will need their photo id and admission ticket to be allowed to take the exam. Students must supply their own pencils and calculators. Please follow all the specific registration instructions on the ACT website when registering.
  • The ACT exam has four sections, including Science, Reading, Writing, and Math. Writing is optional on the ACT, but we recommend that students do register for the Writing exam as well.
  • Many colleges  in the Southern, Central, and Western portions of the country prefer the ACT exam, so we recommend that students looking in these regions of the country for college take the ACT exam.
