Open Campus Application

Open Campus is a special privilege permitting students to leave the school campus for a specific block. It is extended to eligible juniors & seniors who meet qualifying criteria for attendance, behavior, & academics. Please read the below information before completing an application.

Rules and Regulations

  • Open Campus is a privilege and can be revoked if these rules and expectations are not followed

    • Students who lose their Open Campus privilege will be put in study hall for that block
    • Students who lose their Open Campus privilege may be ineligible for Open Campus in the future
  • Students may only request Open Campus for an open block or study hall
    • Open Campus cannot be used as a replacement for a credited course
  • Students must maintain good standing for attendance, behavior, and academics
  • Students may only leave school during the block they have Open Campus on their schedule
  • Students must enter through the main entrance and sign-in when arriving to school from Open Campus
  • Students must exit through the main entrance and sign-out when leaving school for Open Campus
  • Students must leave campus at the start of their Open Campus block and return before the next block starts
    • Exception: A student may remain in the building to work with a teacher during their Open Campus block if the teacher gives permission, informs Attendance, & supervises the student during that time
    • Students will not bring food/drinks into the building when arriving/returning
    • Students are responsible for being on time & aware of special bell schedules & block order changes
  • Open Campus is only good for the marking period it was approved and does not automatically extend; Students must re-apply by the dates below if they want Open Campus for more than one marking period
  • Students must submit an Open Campus application for each marking period by the following dates:
    • Marking Period 4 – Tuesday, April 4, 2025
  • Open Campus does not take effect until the student is officially notified by administration of approval
